Jason Warner

Jason Warner has over a decade of talent acquisition and talent development experience in a variety of roles in high tech and other industries. He is currently the head of Learning and Development for Online Sales and Operations at Google.

Prior to joining Google, he spent over 5 years in recruiting leadership roles at Starbucks Coffee Company, including his role as Director of North America Recruiting. Prior to joining Starbucks, he was the National Recruiting Manager for the Oracle Technology Practice at CSC Consulting, a division of Computer Sciences Corporation. Before joining CSC he recruited at Microsoft.

Jason is a frequent speaker and contributor at recruitment industry events, served on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Corporate Recruiting published by ERE Media, and also served on the advisory board of Jobster.com.

He is the President Emeritus of the Northwest Recruiters Association, a Seattle-based non-profit organization established to serve those in the recruiting profession as a forum for education, networking and information dissemination. Jason graduated cum laude from the University of Washington School of Business with a focus on marketing and human resources.

He lives in Los Altos, California with his wife Angi, and their two young children, daughter Brooklyn and son Ryan.

When he's not working, blogging, or spending time with his family, he enjoys riding his Ducati Superbike (to get away from it all).
